IN THE PAST THE RESTAURANT was a fishermen’s house near the small harbour on the inland channel of the lagoon from Caorle to Bibione, placed so as to be protected from the sea winds and the frost of winter.

IN 1977 MARIO CONTE CHANGED IT INTO THE ‘MASARACK’.

A tavern with hot dishes, mainly fish-based, a few simple, genuine and tasty dishes, typical of popular and fishermen’s cuisine.

The same ones that the grandchildren Rudi and Denis offer today, who carry on the business with passion and enthusiasm: fried sardines with onions, stewed codfish, cuttlefish and eel, variety of fried fish all served with toasted yellow polenta, white and red wine from Lison-Pramaggiore.

THE FAMILY-RUN RESTAURANT makes the atmosphere friendly, cheerful, lively and light-hearted, unconventional and welcoming: in the kitchen Mum Flavia organises all operations, Rudi and Denis with the help of the young and efficient staff, welcome and serve diners on the large summer terrace.

The success of the Mazarack is the home cooking, the traditional seafood with the typical fish of the day, the genuine dishes where you could taste the flavours of the ingredients used.

The Mazarack seafood restaurant is a friendly meeting place, an opportunity to spend few hours eating well in a cheerful, pleasant and homely place to not forget.
And that is no small thing in a society that prefers to keep everything flat.

LOCATED ON THE EDGE OF THE CANAL, near the Brussa bridge, the Mazarack restaurant is equipped with jetties for mooring boats coming from the sea or the inland lagoon.

BETWEEN THE MOUTHS OF THE NICESOLO AND LEMENE RIVERS

It also has a practical slipway for small boats and berths for speedboats. Close to the restaurant there is a large car park for cars, trucks, campers, and a strip for ultralight aircraft.
